SCMOA Park List and Data Source

SCMOA Park List – This is SCMOA’s list of Mobile Home Parks in Sonoma County. The list contains park map location links, all the HCD park fields, plus two additional fields: SRSO Jurisdiction, which show the Space Rent Stabilization Ordinance jurisdiction; and Operator Notes, which are comments concerning operation of the park. You can download the excel version.

SCMOA Park List Data Source – This describes SCMOA’s HCD data source for our park information. You can download the pdf version.

California Mobilehome Rent Stabilization Ordinances

Vice-President Drummond has created a listing of existing Rent Stabilization Ordinances. The original data was captured from a GSMOL.org webpage under their “MHP RENT STABILIZATION (SRSO)” menu item on 7/14/2018. There’s currently a reference to it under their “Model SRSO’s” menu item, but there’s no longer a link. Modifications were made to highlight all counties, Sonoma County and its cities, all state ordinances tied to less than 100% of CPI, and the one county ordinance tied to COLA. I also added the city of Sonoma.

You can download the excel version or pdf version.

Emergency Home Sharing for Fire Victims

In conjunction with our state organization, GSMOL, we have had a mobile home attorney research the laws pertaining to sharing a mobile home during times of emergency, such as the recent fires. Sometimes, those interested in sharing space with others have been blocked by Park managers who are ignorant of the law. To see the document that fully explains your rights in this matter, please click here.
